Ten riders rode 95 kms yesterday (Grand Final Holiday). The weather was perfect for a longer ride. Ian S (the Anchor Man) did a marvellous job dealing with the challenges of this ride especially after a self imposed three months absence from rinding.
Tomorrow promises to be another perfect riding day. Darnum starting at 8am. Those who want to ride a longer course start at 7:30am for a ride to Westbury and back for coffee.
It is slated to be sunny. Winds northwesterly 10 to 20 km/h reaching 25 to 35 km/h in the far west and on the ranges. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 13 with daytime temperatures reaching 23 to 29. Another perfect day.
The weather for Friday is slated for a perfect day for a ride. So to take advantage of this day a 60+km ride will start from Warragul (from Bike Centre) at 8:30am. The general consensus is to ride to Yarragon and back to Warragul for coffee should Cafe Central or another other cafe is open tomorrow.
The forecast for tomorrow? Patchy fog in the early morning. Sunny day. Light winds becoming northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 2 and 7 with daytime temperatures reaching 21 to 26. Perfect.
Two different rides tomorrow. First is our usual enf of month ride from Brandy Creek Winery starting at 8am.
From popular request there will be a longer and more challenging ride starting at 7:30am from Darnum. This ride is to Westbury, Old Sale Road, Araluen Road and back to Darnum via Little Moe Road.

It was a four lap handicap race around the Darnum circuit. Congratulations to Pepe and the Captain for coming in second and third respectively. Welcome to the joys of racing.
