30 december 2017 Ride

Well it is not only the last Saturday of the month but the last for 2017! This being the case we will start from Yarragon departing at 8am. the weather after a series of very hot days will be much milder and a bit damp. Let this not be a hinderance.

BOM forecasts tomorrow will be partly cloudy with medium (60%) chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm in the early morning. Winds westerly 25 to 35 km/h tending southwesterly in the late afternoon then becoming light in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 13 and 16 with daytime temperatures reaching between 18 and 25.

23 December 2017 Ride

Three more sleeps to Christmas! Our last ride before Christmas will depart from Dranum at 8am. Looks like summer will be still with us at least for the ride and the days leading uptown and including Christmas day.

Saturday will be partly cloudy with the chance of fog in the early morning. Slight (30%) chance of a shower in the afternoon and evening. Light winds becoming northwest to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the morning then tending northwest to northeasterly in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 12 with daytime temperatures reaching 25 to 31.

16 December 2017 Ride

Summer has definitely arrived. The weather for the last week has been very mild to hot. Tomorrow according to the Beureau promises to be magnificent. Yes, we’ll start from Darnum departing at 8am.

The forecast is to be partly cloudy with areas of fog in the south in the early morning. There is a slight (20%) chance of a shower about the ranges but this should not worry us.. Light winds becoming southeast to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 11 and 15 with daytime temperatures reaching 23 to 29. Perfect!

Christmas Breakup BBQ

Karin Jones together with Brenton Jones and Daniel Dliger on the behalf of the  Warragul Cycling Club are organising a  Christmas breakup BBQ this Friday starting at 6pm. Venue: Warragul Cycling Club clubrooms.The weather as forecast by BOM promised to be perfect this Friday.

All riders (club members and non members) including friends and family are most welcome. Bring along your drinks, nibblies  and BBQ meats.

Well summer has decided to have a short holiday recently and tomorrow will be the same. It will be partly cloudy with medium (40%) chance of showers in the southwest in the morning and early afternoon. Winds northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h turning west to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the late morning and afternoon. Daytime temperatures is predicted to be between 20 to 25 deg.

Depart from Darnum at 8am sharp. Please have your rear lights on during the ride. This means you need to charge your batteries.

2 December 2017 Ride

Hmm… start of summer? It will be very wet weekend particularly tomorrow. Let’s call a ride for the ride tragic and see what the weather brings before setting off. Darnum it is departing at 8am (if the rain abates for an hour or two).

As we have been advised by our weather men / women it will be a cloudy day with very high (near 100%) chance of rain. The chance of a thunderstorm. Heavy falls possible. Winds northeast to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending northwest to southwesterly in the middle of the day. Overnight temperatures falling to between 13 and 16 with daytime temperatures reaching between 18 and 21.

24 November 2017 Ride

How time has flown. We are fast approaching the end of the year. Tomorrow will be last Saturday for November which means our ride swill start from Yarragon departing at 8am. The weather promises to be ideal for a perfect ride. Please ride with your light on for your safety. Also please ride as a caring cohesive group. Ian unfortunately will not be going you as he will be on a day long local winery tour.

Tomorrow is slated to be partly cloudy with high (80%) chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and early evening. A thunderstorm likely. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between 13 and 16 with daytime temperatures reaching 27 to 34.

Varying weather but hopefully it will be a bit stable for a ride tomorrow. 8am depart from Darnum.

The forecast is for a partly cloudy day with patchy fog in the early morning. High (70%) chance of showers about the ranges, medium (40%) chance elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm in the morning and afternoon. Winds east to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h tending east to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late afternoon then becoming light in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 11 and 14 with daytime temperatures reaching 23 to 29.

Hmm.. the weather on Saturday promises to be on the rise at least where our riding is concerned. Perfect if the forecast could be relied upon. Well the ride will depart from Darnum at 8am. Please have your lights on for the ride.

The weather for Spring has not warmed up as it should however it is slated to be a dry day. This being the case it should be a reasonable morning for a ride. 8am depart from Darnum. Have your batteries charged and light on please.
