28 April 2018 Ride – Yarragon

The recent unsteady weather is forecast to be moderating over the weekend providing good weather for our ride. Start from Yarragon at 8am as it is the last Saturday of the month. Please have your batteries charged and your light on for the ride.

The weather looks like it will be holding out for a good ride tomorrow. Well its darnum again starting at 8am.

2 April 2018 Easter Monday Ride

There has been several request for a group ride on Easter Monday. This being the case meet at the carpark next to the Drouin Bowing Club for an 8am departure. The ride is out to Labertouche and back.

Monday will be partly cloudy with medium (40%) chance of showers (0-1mm) in the west in the morning and early afternoon. Winds westerly 20 to 30 km/h becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching between 18 and 23.

31 March 2018 Ride

Happy Easter all! Trust you have a lot planned for this long weekend including a ride tomorrow. It’s also the last Saturday of March. This means that we will start from Yarragon leaving at 8am.

The weather for the next few days is forecast to be mild and good for cycling. Make the most of this good weather as traditionally the weather generally cools down and breaks up after Easter.

High (80%) chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and early evening. The chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. Winds northwest to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h tending west to northwesterly in the middle of the day then tending northwest to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late afternoon. 17 March 2018 Ride

The bush fire in Cloverlea seems to be under control. It shouldn’t affect our ride but we have to avoid riding on Hazeldean Road between Darnum Allambee and Cropleys Roads. The fire fighters will appreciate this. Darnum departing at 8am.

Ian has a Bonsai excursion and will not be able to join you all for coffee.
