Ahh…, we’ve had several mild spring days recently however it is going to turn to a damp day according to the Bureau. Let’s hope the early morning hours will be a little dry for a our unusual 40km ride. Darnum its is departing at 8am sharp.
PTomorrow will be partly cloudy with very high (95%) chance of showers in the west, high (70%) chance elsewhere. Snow falling above 500 metres. The chance of a thunderstorm with gusty winds and possible hail in the afternoon and evening. Winds north to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h shifting westerly 35 to 50 km/h in the morning then decreasing to 25 to 35 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 10 with daytime temperatures reaching between 15 and 20.
Ian unfortunately will not be unable to join you for the ride but intends to ride on Sunday with the general Sunday ride. See you then.
A reminder:
For those who ride on Sunday and finish at Frankies for coffee for your safety and good road manners could you please ride up to the Victoria – Palmerston Street roundabout to park in the bike racks and along the footpath outside Frankies. There has been a recent unfortunate accident when a rider has fallen when another rider decided to ride across the continuous white line to finish his ride. This is for your and others safety. Your operation will be notices and appreciated.
