Time has flown. It will be February tomorrow. It will be warm and may be a little damp for our ride but thankfully it will not be as hot as it is today. It’s been crazy hot!

After a slow start to summer it is definitely here. Large ongoing bush fires across the country are causing havoc with lives and mega property losses. We are lucky not to have this issue this year.

Happy New Year! Trust you ushered in the new year with a blast. While it has been good around here the fires along the eastern board of Oz is not doing too well with  mega destruction and fatalities from bushfires.

Its not only the last Saturday of the month but the last for 2019. As our usual practice we start from Yarragon departing at 8am. Warm weather predicted so it will be ideal for a pleasant ride.

West and South Gippsland area

Extreme oscillating weather over the last few days. Freezing and wet one day and boring hot another. Tomorrow is looking like being mild and perfect for a ride. Five sleeps before Christmas! Darnum venue leaving at 8am.

Summer seems to be eluding us bit over the last couple of weeks. Christmas however is looming – a mere 13 sleeps away. Tomorrow will be a  little damp but we’ ll have a go. Kevin Roberts has organised a Christmas get together after our ride tomorrow.

Several request have been made to have our end of year ride ain Yarragon but arrangements has been made to have it in Darnum. This being the case we will start from Darnum departing at 8am.

Winds westerly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 13 with daytime temperatures reaching between 16 and 23.

Strong winds is predicted to continue through the weekend. At least it will not be raining (let’s hope!). It will not be as cold as it has been over the last week. Ride from Darnum leaving at 8am. Ride as a cohesive bunch looking out for each other.

After literally of weeks freezing cold and wet weather followed by seriously hot windy weather tomorrow looks like being quite mild. This will be perfect for our ride tomorrow morning.
