14 November 2020 Ride

Mild temperature forecast for the mormig May be a bit damp so be prepared for for a drizzle or two. Darnum it is starting at 8am. Light on please and ride as a cohesive safe group.

Forecast to be partly cloudy with medium (40%) chance of showers in the morning. Light winds becoming northwest to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning then becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 8 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching between 18 and 22.

There is a request to have our Christmas breakup up ride from Yarragon on Saturday 5 December 2020. This means there will be two consecutive rides from Yarragon – last Saturday of November followed by our Christmas breakup. It will be bust time so we need to book a venue and need to know numbers. 7 November 220 Ride

Cool with light showers with mild south westerly winds in the morning. Rug with wet weather’s incase it gets a little damp. 8am start from Darnum. Please have your lights on for the ride.

31 October 2020 Ride

Variable weather forecast for tomorrow but it look like it will be reasonable for our Yarragon Westbury ride tomorrow. Yes, it’s Yarragon once again setting off at 8am. Ian, John, Michael and Lindsay will be setting off from Warragul at 7am to join the ride at Yarragon.

It is forecast to be cloudy with the chance of morning fog. Very high (90%) chance of showers about the ranges, medium (60%) chance elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm about the ranges in the afternoon. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 13 with daytime temperatures reaching between 14 and 19.

24 October 2020 Ride

Hmmm…, we’ve had variable weather for the last few days. Tomorrow morning’s forecast says the wet and snowy weather will be later in the afternoon. So with this forecast there will be a ride from Darnum setting off at 8am. Rug up incase the forecast is not quite right.

It is forecast to be cloudy with very high (95%) chance of rain, with heavy falls possible, tending to showers in the afternoon. Snow falling above 1300 metres late. Isolated thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon, possibly severe with damaging winds and heavy rain which may lead to flash flooding. Winds southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to between 8 and 11 with daytime temperatures reaching between 13 and 17.

17 October 2020 Ride

Mild temperature forecast for tomorrow but the chances are that it will be quite wet in the morning. Need to rug with wet weather gear if you intend to ride. Yes, its Darnum setting off at 8am. Rock up and see what the weather presents. Coffee if it is too wet to ride.

Forecast to be cloudy with very high (95%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm in the morning and afternoon, possibly severe with damaging winds and large hail in the afternoon and early evening. Possible heavy falls in the afternoon and early evening. Winds east to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h shifting westerly in the late morning and early afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to around 9 with daytime temperatures reaching between 16 and 21.

10 October 2020 Ride

La Ninia is certainly with us starting with wetter than expected rain falling over the last week or so. It will be with us for the foreseeable future. The light in the tunnel is the forecast for it not to be raining tomorrow morning. Let’s take advantage of this window and have our ride from Darnum departing at 8am.

3 October 2020 Ride

Easing Covid19 restrictions coupled with a gusty winds in the morning tomorrow will make it pleasant but a challenging ride. Start at 8am s usual  from Darnum.

Ian will unfortunately not be joining you as he has been invited to spend the day on a boat. Have a safe ride looking after each other.

It will be sunny with strong winds north to northwesterly 30 to 45 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to between 13 and 18 with daytime temperatures reaching 23 to 30.

26 September 2020 Ride

After an almost perfect start to Spring and the easing of the Covid 19 restrictions last week end tomorrow is forecast to be cold we and windy. It’s also the last day of September for a Yarragon start venue. The dire weather forecast makes it a  difficult call as to whether to call off the ride or not. Nevertheless Ian will be there at 8am hoping to put in a few kays should there be a  small opening to ride. If not a quick coffee will suffice.

It will be cloudy with a  high (80%) chance of showers, with possible hail in the morning. Snow falling above 700 metres. Winds west to northwesterly 25 to 35 km/h tending west to southwesterly 25 to 40 km/h during the morning then becoming westerly 15 to 25 km/h in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 1 and 5 with daytime temperatures reaching between 7 and 13.

19 September 2020 Ride – easing of Level 3 restrictions

Yes, things are looking up on two fronts! Level 3 restrictions have been eased where we are now allowed to ride in groups of 10. Spring has certainly sprung. Tomorrow’s weather  is forecast to be mild and humid which will be perfect for angled ride.

Let’s celebrate by meeting up as a group to ride tomorrow. It will be from Darnum starting at 8am.

12 September 2020 Ride

We’ve had a variable weather over the last few days from cold to mild and then windy. Tomorrow is forecast to be damp in the morning with rain later in the morning. We might have a window where we could ride. Looking positivitaly let’s have a go to ride at Darnum at 8am.

Please observe social distancing as it has been notice by the public some riders are riding in tight bunches and also having coffee in large groups.during. I sincerely hope we are not the ones during the wrong things.
