The year is whizzing by. The we are on the better side of the winter solstice (days will become longer from now). Great weather over the last several days. It is forecast not to last hopefully it won’t crack up until the afternoon. This means we will be able to slip in a ride in the morning.

It is the last Saturday of the month so we will start from Yarragon (rear car park) departing at 8am. It will be cool so rug up.

Saturday is forecast to be partly cloudy with a very high (90%) chance of rain, most likely in the late afternoon and evening. Snow falling above 1100 metres at night. Winds north to northeasterly 25 to 40 km/h turning northwesterly 25 to 35 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 7 and 11 with daytime temperatures reaching between 10 and 19.

Fickle weather over the last week. Tomorrow however is predicted to be cool too cold and may be a  little damp. Inspire of this there is a ride stating from Darnum departing at 8am. Please have your batteries charged and light on for the ride.

Saturday is forecast to be partly cloudy. with a slight (30%) chance of a shower near the coast. Winds west to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light in the early afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 3 and 7 with daytime temperatures reaching between 11 and 16.

Tomorrow is forecasted to be a little bit cool to cold. This means we need to rug up. With the wet and windy weather leading up to the week end, remember it is officially winter, lets make the most of this predicted good weather.
