Yep, Darnum it is departing at 8am. We’ve had very mild to warm weather in recent days and tomorrow according to the BOM forecast premisses to be quite mild – hopefully not windy.
BOM forecast’s for a partly cloudy day with medium (40%) chance of light showers in the southwest in the morning and early afternoon. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. Winds westerly 30 to 45 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to between 8 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching between 15 and 22.
Weather permitting there will be a Melbourne Cup ride this Tuesday starting from the Warragul clock tower at 7am. It will be longer ride but at a much lower pace. The plan is to ride to Westbury returning via Yarragon where we may, depending of consensus, stop for a coffee before retuning to Warragul. We should be back by lunch so you’ll have the rest of the afternoon to watch the big race.
