29 August 2015 Ride – Brandy Creek Winery
We start from Brandy creek Winery as it is the last Saturday of the month. 8am start as usual. There will be definitely a study group for those wanting an shorter and easier ride. We will expect the morning to be overcast. Winds west to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the late afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between minus 1 and 3 above zero with daytime temperatures reaching between 7 and 12.

The forecast for the morning looks good for a dry ride. Start from the General Store in Darnum at 8am.
Mostly sunny morning. Slight (30%) chance of a shower in the late afternoon and evening. Winds north to northwesterly 25 to 35 km/h tending west to northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning then becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 7 and 11 with daytime temperatures reaching between 14 and 20.

The weather for Saturday promises (at least by the weather men) to be a lot warmer tha it has been over the last couple of weeks. Thinking positively, the morning would be ideal for a ride. Start from Darnum at 8am.
Partly cloudy. Morning fog. Slight (30%) chance of a shower in the morning and afternoon. Snow possible above 1500 metres. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between 4 and 7 with daytime temperatures reaching between 10 and 14.

While our weather would not be as warm as it is in Surfers Paradise, we will start at 8am from Darnum even if it may be a little damp.
Partly cloudy. Areas of morning frost about the ranges. Areas of morning fog. Slight (30%) chance of a shower in the morning and afternoon. Snow possible above 1200 metres. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling to between 2 and 6 with daytime temperatures reaching between 9 and 14.
PS: IdB will be away however will be back on the scene on Sunday.
1August Ride weather
The BOM rain radar map presently (7am) shows a large band of rain which on inspection May and decide last for at least a couple of hours. We’ll turn up to decide our next move – ride or coffee.
